How to make a Green Smoothie

What on earth is a Green Smoothie?

A green smoothie is a smoothie with added Greens, like Spinach or Kale and some green superfood.

Why on earth would you want to add that? :-)))

By adding in greens it is a sneaky way you can get so many more greens into your diet without having to taste them or eat them individually. Greens contain chlorophyll which purify the blood, aid digestion, keeps the thyroid gland in balance, cleanses internal organs and builds up red blood cell counts. All good :-)

Where do I start?

Start with a banana or avocado – they add a creamy texture to it

Add two or three fruits – i.e. berries, peaches, mango – the list is endless

Add in a handful of Spinach or Kale.

Optional – add in green powders like Spirulina, Barley Grass, Wheat Grass.

Add in liquid – like Water or nut milk,

Optional – for extra nutrition you can add in soaked seeds, like Chia, Flax

Put it all in the blender and you will get a delicious tasting Green Smoothie.
